Alessandra Leanne Plantado from Barangay Central Signal was crowned Mutya ng Taguig 2024 during the coronation night on May 25. Plantado edged out bets from Taguig’s 36 other barangays to win the title at the ceremony held at the Taguig City University Auditorium. She also won Best in Swimwear and Long Gown during the competition.
“I think one initiative that I would like to take part is promoting our cultural heritage. Our Taguig City is mostly known in promoting our cultural heritage that aligns with my advocacy which is the cultural influence through performing art. And with that, I am sure that I am very confident that I can promote our Taguig City well,” said Plantado during the question-and-answer portion.
