There will be no second season for The Spencer Sisters . CTV has opted not to pick up a second season of the Canadian drama series starring Lea Thompson and Stacey Farber. A rep for Canada’s CTV Television Network confirmed to Deadline that “a second season of The Spencer Sisters has not been picked up at this time.
” The CW had picked up the first season of the series in 2023, which finished airing in December. The Spencer Sisters followed a mother and daughter duo who team up to start a private detective agency. It pairs mystery novelist Victoria Spencer (Thompson) and her daughter Darby Spencer (Farber) who are mistaken as sisters as they tackle puzzling cases.
