Britain’s Got Talent had an unexpected guest when a 90s pop star popped up as part of a finale performance. On Sunday night, 11 acts performed for the chance to take out the title of this season of the long-running reality show, as well as the £250,000 prize and a slot at the Royal Variety Performance . The finalists were Abigail & Afronita, Northants Sings Out, Jack Rhodes, Haribow, Innocent Masuku, Ssaulabi Performance Troupe, Mike Woodhams, Sydnie Christmas , Alex Mitchell and Trixy.

The group were also joined by wildcard act, the Tricksters. However, it was at the end of magician Trixy’s performance that none other than Peter Andre appeared. His act began by asking judge Simon Cowell to choose a number between 1 and 50, before Trixy showed a list of 50 celebrities that he had written up on his phone.

After Simon revealed that he’d chosen number 34, the name corresponding to that was the Mysterious Girl singer. As Trixy then explained, he had a card trick to show off, with 50 people wearing hoodies and holding big cards in front of their faces walking onto stage. Being presented with a deck of cards, Simon then picked one, which was the four of diamonds.

Asking the person with that card in front of their face to step forward, Peter then revealed himself, much to the shock of the judges, audience and those watching on at home. ‘Magic is my most favourite variety act ever! Trixy how??? Just how did you do that?!!! Amazing,’ Donna posted on X. ‘Wow Trixy and Pete.
