Bristol’s festival season has finally gotten underway for 2024 and while the likes of Love Saves the Day has been and gone, and Upfest is nearly over for another year, there is still plenty more to enjoy. From food and drink festivals to music and Pride, there is something for everyone this summer. Organisers of popular festival Siren, the ‘harbourside gig series at the Bristol Amphitheatre, have announced this week they have finalised their Thursday line-up and this year it will be an all female list.

With only 29% of DJs identifying as women, Siren wanted to make a concerted effort in ‘supporting and highlighting some incredible female talent within the industry’. Headline act Sugarbabes was announced for Thursday earlier this year, but the noughties pop-megastars will be joined by a plethora of other female acts. Starting the day off is east-London based Jaguar who will treat the audience to ‘her signature blend of house, techno and influences from jungle and drum and bass.
