BRIAN Dowling showed up to work wearing a unique animal themed outfit as he reported live from Dublin Zoo for his radio show. The Six O'Clock show host was in an exotic location with radio co-host, Leanne Hanafin as the pair got to feed the animals. At the Zoo, Brian got to feed an array of different animals, from Red Pandas to the fish.
He was also granted access to enter the penguin habitat. The popular presenter was brought around the Zoo and joked: "What type of Gorilla is that?" He panned his camera around to the crew that surrounded him, but no one seemed to know the answer. Later that day, he explained the reasoning behind his bizarre outfit choice.
The broadcaster said: "Russell, our producer, said he wanted, 'Camp Bet Lynch,' this is what he got." His producer then joked saying: "Yeah, it works." The dad-of-one took to Instagram after his tropical day yesterday, and shared a picture of his outfit.
In the photo, the 46-year-old was perched on the wishing chair in the farm section of the zoo. He held his mic closely and smiled wide as he made his wish. Brian wore a two-piece tracksuit that featured a leopard print and floral design.
And he tied the look together with a pair of classic black Gucci runners. The Virgin Media star captioned his post: "It’s not every day you get to visit Dublin Zoo & sit in the FAMOUS wishing chair. Now what to wish for? Honestly, the best time doing the @98fmdublin radio show this morning LIVE from the Zoo.
"I got to feed the cutest Red .
