Sunday, July 7, 2024 Breeze Airways has announced the introduction of a new flight route starting next year that will link New Orleans and Las Vegas directly. The service, set to launch with six weekly departures, promises a nonstop connection between these vibrant cities. Additionally, Breeze plans to reintroduce its direct flights from New Orleans to Los Angeles in 2025, setting up a competitive landscape with Southwest Airlines and, for the Southern California route, Delta Air Lines.
Ishrion Aviation, an independent aviation blog, first reported the news on Friday. Breeze’s official website details that starting February 5, 2025, flights will operate from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) to Harry Reid International Airport (LAS). This service will be available six days a week—Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday—aboard the Airbus A220-300.
Flight MX304 is scheduled to depart each evening shortly before 20:30, arriving around 22:00 at LAS. After a brief turnaround of nearly two hours, the aircraft will return as flight MX305, taking off just before midnight and landing back in New Orleans early the following morning at 06:00. This new route will be Breeze’s first direct service between MSY and LAS, enhancing travel options for passengers.
Breeze currently flies to several destinations from MSY, including cities in South Carolina, Arkansas, Kentucky, Virginia, Florida, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania, some on a seasonal ba.
