The victims of a house fire in Blackpool have been named for the first time as their infant son remains in a coma. Josh Pearson, 28, and 24-year-old Danielle Bamber were killed in Wednesday's blaze after it tore through their terraced home in the town. Hero firefighters were able to pull their two children out, with both rushed to hospital.

Baby Lorenzo, 18 months, remained in a coma on Thursday, while brother Oscar, six, is understood to be in a stable condition. Mum Danielle was tragically pronounced dead at the scene after the fire broke out in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Josh meanwhile was also rushed to hospital where he died.

Tributes have now flooded in for the couple, described by loved ones as a pair of "beautiful angels". Jacqueline Pearson, Josh's sister, called him the "best brother ever" in a heartbreaking post. She wrote: “I feel sick internally sick to be writing this, Joshua you were the best brother ever.

I love you so so much. I can not believe this has happened to you. “I won’t ever forget our phone call the other day and the amount we were laughing I'll cherish our memories forever! I love you forever and always.

Danielle you are going to be sadly missed! I’m so sorry this has happened to the both of you! I love you both so much! Rest in peace my beautiful angels”. A brave neighbour had to smash a window after the alarm was raised to the blaze, Lancs Live reports. Fire crews were able to save their two young children, with an investigat.
