Bradford has been named as the cheapest place in the UK to party, with the average night out costing just over £20. The analysis, by casino comparison site , calculated the cost of a pint, a cocktail nightclub entry, a fast food feast after the club and a 5km taxi home and found that the West Yorkshire city could offer all the above for just £21.25 on average.
Unsurprisingly, London was on the other end of the spectrum and was dubbed the most expensive city for an evening on the town - the same package of goods likely to set you back an eye watering £46. Bradford is also home to one of the UK’s cheapest pubs. The Turls Green took home the award for back in 2019, when it was just £1.
89 - and even now, it’s still among the best value brews money can buy. The Wetherspoons pub still offers pints at an average price of £3, and according to the reviews, it’s a great place for a bite to eat too. A spokesperson for the bargain booze chain said: “We pride ourselves on offering excellent value drink.
Our customers appreciate the fact that they can enjoy a great pint in the pub without it breaking the bank.” With a three star rating on TripAdvisor, visitors are most often impressed by the low prices, and the stellar service in the pub. They say the meal portions are good, and the frequent deals made Turls Green an ideal setting for a bit of a night out.
