A popular high street retailer is moving into the Market Place Shopping Centre – and it has confirmed the opening date is next month. Leading shoe shop Deichmann is to open in Bolton town centre on Tuesday, June 11. Deichmann, known for ‘selling quality footwear at an affordable price’ revealed at the start of April that it is to open a store in the shopping complex with signage put up last month.

The shoe store will be moving into where the Market Emporium was located, which has now been relocated next door to River Island. They said: “The opening date has been confirmed for June 11.

” An opening sale will officially mark the opening of the new store with customers receiving a limited opening sale offer of 50 per cent off. The offer will apply to selected lines and whilst stocks last. A customer shopping in the Market Place said: “The opening can’t come quick enough, I have been shopping in the centre and popping in to see if it was open yet, so I can’t wait for it to open next month.

” The news of the opening also comes as a new store is set to move into another unit, although the name of the store is being kept under wraps. Signage has been put up .
