Since your acting career picked up, there is no stopping. Tell us how you handle it when two or three scripts come at the same time? Story line is everything for me. So, when I’m approached with multiple scripts, the story is usually the deciding factor for what I take on, and to be honest, I don’t like to be on too many projects at the same time.
So, I’m really careful about my selection. What do you look out for in a movie script before saying yes? Authenticity and heart. I need to love it.
Also, please pay me well! Yesterday’s price is not today’s price. Recently, you were in a Hollywood movie where you acted with world’s heartthrob and children’s superhero star, Henry Cavil. Were you star struck and was it difficult acting with him on the same set? Everyone is star struck by Henry Cavill! I did not have any scenes with him.
So, I survived it! But meeting Guy Ritchie, who was the Director of the film gave me butterflies. I have followed his career and loved his work. So, to be directed by one of my movie heroes was just precious! He was so gracious, such a gentleman.
Are there huge differences of shooting on Hollywood set and shooting in Nollywood sets? To be honest, the core is the same to tell great stories but they are far more advanced than we are. They plan for every minute and really look after you on set. Nollywood will get there one day hopefully.
Are they more professional, more respectful than Nigerian movie stars or crew? How do you rate them? Beca.
