The high-intensity interval training (HIIT) classes combine airbike, kettlebells, TRX, medicine balls, body weight exercises and barbells with the focus on strength, cardio and endurance.
“This is not your average HIIT workout. It’s 35 minutes of full-force intensity for supreme calorie burn,” says area manager Jennifer Crunk. Crunk says Basecamp Fitness offers a sense of community among members.
“That’s important because we have members who’ve been with us since we opened two years ago. In and outside of the gym, they rally around each other in their fitness goals. They even choose times and classes so they know who’s going to be next to to them,” says Crunk.
