1 of 1 2 of 1 Vancouver’s largest Italian cultural festival is back with over 200 participants offering food, drinks, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities that will take over 14 blocks in Little Italy on Commercial Drive. This year’s theme is “Storia,” meaning both “story” and “history” in Italian, to celebrate the power of storytelling and connect generations, preserve traditions, and shape the future. Some food and drinks highlights include woodfire paninis from Via Tevere Saltimbocca food truck; Fontana Forni pizza being dished out by award-winning pizzaiolo Giuseppe Cortinovis; and a piazza that will offer a selection of local beer and Italian wine on tap.

For sweet treats, Cannoli King will offer freshly-made cannoli and sfogliatelle, and Dolce Amore will serve its authentic Italian gelato. Live entertainment will include Gianni Fuoco and son Federico Fuoco; 20-piece ukulele ensemble Opera 101; R&B artist Luvinya & The Retrolytes; and fashion shows by JAC by Jacqueline Conoir and Atelier Grandi. There will also be a pasta-eating contest, and raffle prizes totalling over $14,000.
