And now, she's bringing her signature ruffles to one of the most hyped trainers in the world. Caroline Hu x Adidas Samba ‘Blue’ First previewed at Hu's Autumn 2024 show in Paris , this special edition Samba has been revealed in five colour combos and will drop as part of her Reverie imprint, which is the designer's ready-to-wear line.

The blue and black Sambas have replaced the usual classic leather with dramatic loofah frills which, again, nod the big gowns from her Spring/Summer 2020 collection. For those looking for something a little less theatrical, there's a black pair and the off-white and pink versions that are a little more understated. These lacy uppers have all been designed by Hu's artist friend, Rao Chen, who was inspired by traditional Chinese flora and fauna.
