TRIBUTES have been paid to a mother who died alongside her daughter in a horrific crash. Aisling Moore, who was in her 40s, and eight-year-old Abbigael lost their lives in a fatal collision between a car and a lorry. The horror tragedy happened on Tuesday at around 5.

Locals today spoke of their shock at the loss of the popular mam and daughter, describing them as "beautiful souls" who will be missed dearly. Kiltimagh Gaa Club said: “It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we hear about the tragic deaths of our U-10 team member Abbigael and her loving mother Aisling Moore. “Abbigael was a kind, bubbly and fun loving girl who will be missed dearly by us all, not least her family and her dear friends.

“We hold Aisling and Abbigaels family and friends in our thoughts and prayers “Rest In Peace Aisling and Abbigael in the arms of the angels.” Clann Machua Drama said: “Everyone in Clann Machua Drama group are shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Aisling Moore and her young daughter Abbigael yesterday. “Aisling joined the drama group in recent years, taking part in our Taste of Theatre.

She always had a supportive message for any of the group taking part in shows. Ever positive and ever warm. “Ailsing and Abbigael will be sadly missed in our group and our community.
