The Wythall farm is opening its gates for free to the public for summer 2024. Owners are encouraging visitors to make voluntary donations to to help young people who have lost a loved one.
The local organisation hosts Memory Days where can come together to share memories of their loved ones and participate in activities to help reduce isolation. There's a three-acre sunflower field with lovely views plus a full of nature to explore. Afterwards you can grab a bite to eat or a drink at the one site Farm Shop & Restaurant.
Sunflower fields are weather-dependent but it is hoped the gates will be open to the public by late July and then throughout August. It takes around 30 minutes to drive to Becketts Farm from , traffic permitting, via the A441 Pershore Road. Alternatively, you can catch a train from Birmingham Moor Street to Wythall.
The farm is then just over a mile from the station. Simon Beckett, Chairman at Becketts Farm, said: "We are hoping that the memorable days out that our sunflower fields provide this year also sow the seeds for happier times ahead for those in need."
