Fiona Bruce has opened up about hosting Question Time (Image: BBC) After hosting Question Time since 2019, moderator Fiona Bruce has revealed she fears she's "walking a tightrope" when presenting the show as she can't predict what anybody is going to say. The 60-year-old explained that she has to respond in the right way or risks facing criticism from BBC viewers on social media. Speaking to Radio Times , Fiona expressed: "You’re walking a tightrope on Question Time , more than any programme I do, because I have no idea what anyone’s going to say, particularly when it comes to the audience.

"I have to respond to that in the right manner and if I get it wrong, social media does not hesitate to let me know about it." Despite the challenging task of moderating the speakers and audience, the journalist has admitted that she enjoys doing the show. She continued: "You can’t imagine what it’s like to do the job until you’re doing it, and whether you’ll relish that challenge or you’re in the wrong job.

I rather enjoy it – maybe I’m a masochist." function loadOvpScript(){let el=document.createElement('script');el.
