Springwatch: Megan McCubbin reports live from Loch Lomond BBC Springwatch viewers rushed to complain just minutes into the programme. The popular show returned to BBC Two on Monday (June 3) as presenters Chris Packham and Michaela Stachan continued following British wildlife, but this time at RSPB Arne. Megan McCubbin hosted live from Loch Lomond, the largest loch by surface area, and the third deepest.
The conservationist was joined by an expert named Phoebe, who had a camera to spot inhabitants under the water. The zoologist also revealed the other reason the team had travelled to Loch Lomond, telling viewers: "It's because of a true true rarity, endemic to only two loch's in all of Scotland, Loch Lomond being one of them, and that is the powan.
