BBC slammed over TV licence as Antiques Roadshow delayed without warning

Antiques Roadshow was taken off air this evening (Image: BBC) BBC One fans were left fuming as they tuned in to their Sunday night telly fix to find that one of their favourite shows had been delayed without warning. Antiques Roadshow was due to air at 9pm but was nowhere to be seen when the time came. Instead, the Wimbledon tennis tournament had carried over, with live coverage from the All England Club.

It featured the fourth round of the men's and women's singles - much to the dismay of Antiques Roadshow lovers. Fans were furious as the clock struck nine and they realised that the BBC show was not on - despite no warning from the broadcasters. One user posted to X (formerly Twitter ): "Bloody tennis [angry emojis].
