The Great British Sewing Bee: Kiell teases upcoming series Actor Kiell Smith-Bynoe is no stranger to The Great Sewing Bee world, as the 35-year-old competed in the BBC Christmas special back in 2021. At the end of last year, the star stepped in for Sara Pascoe to host the 2023 festive special. Now, viewers will be seeing much more of Kiell, as he was announced as the new host of series 10.
Over the years, fans have seen a range of presenters front the BBC show, including Claudia Winkleman, Joe Lycett and Sara Pascoe. Kiell will be overseeing the competition this year as the judges, Esme Young and Patrick Grant, try and find their next winner. However, previous hosts of the BBC show have given him some words of warning.
Speaking to Radio Times, the 35-year-old was asked if the former presenters have shared any words of wisdom for his new role. He replied: “I’ve seen them all since and none of them have given me any advice. “Apart from: don’t go for a night out with Esme.
