BBC Breakfast fans were left swooning over 'national treasure' Carol Kirkwood as she celebrated her birthday. The longtime weather presenter turned 62-years-old today as she was warmly welcomed onto the show by Jon Kay and Sally Nugent . Carol absolutely stunned on-screen as she took to the airwaves in a stunning leopard print dress.

As she was first brought up onto the studio screens, Sally, 52, and Jon, 54, both sung a somewhat rowdy rendition of the traditional 'Happy Birthday' song.
