Breakfast: John Watson's report interrupted by reversing bin lorry BBC Breakfast star John Watson gave up on his report after his live broadcast was disrupted. During Thursday's instalment (June 13) of the programme, John presented live from Munich ahead of the UEFA EURO 2024 . The highly-anticipated tournament kicks off on Friday evening (June 14), with Germany taking on Scotland in the first game.

After the pre-recorded interview aired, John attempted to continue his broadcast but he was halted as a huge lorry pulled up beside him.
He said: "Hopefully we avoid getting run over here in the Munich square this morning. I think that's probably our sign to leave, isn't it?" READ MORE..
