BRATTLEBORO — A double billing of Bard Owl, T. Breeze Verdant and Annie Landenberger, and Jesse Lepkoff will present, “Originals: Tunes for a Balmy Summer Evening.” Vermont Blues Society Contest winner and singer-songwriter Jesse Lepkoff will present his originals in many styles alternating between songs influenced by bossa nova, early acoustic blues, Gypsy jazz and Flamenco.

His songs can have the sophistication of art song or the rollicking earthiness of 1930s style blues. Bard Owl’s music is rhythmic, upbeat — foot-tapping tunes mixed among jazz, ballads, rocking blues, sweet and slow tunes — new, old, original, familiar and unexpected. Bard Owl’s originals are written by T.

Breeze Verdant. The concert will take place at 7 p.m.

Saturday (rain date at 6:30 p.m. Sunday) at 314 Upper Houghton Road, Brattleboro.

Note that Upper Houghton Road is only accessible via Ames Hill Road. Bring a picnic or a blanket. Chairs will be provided.
