Frankie's early years were spent in Glens Falls High School, where she graduated from high school. She continued her education at Becker College, where she earned an associate's degree in secretarial sciences. This foundation propelled her into a career with General Electric.
Frankie married David A Bannon on April 4th 1959, followed by a beautiful trip to Bermuda. As a commissioned salesman, David achieved and exceeded many goals throughout his career, allowing he and Frankie to travel. There were 2 trips to Hawaii, NOLA, Caribbean Cruise and Disney with the family.
Multiple trips during the summers to either Cape Cod, MA and later on, Myrtle Beach, SC. Frankie and David enjoyed a close group of friends who would do dinner and dancing once a month. As Frankie transitioned into the role of a devoted mother, she raised her large family in Scotia-Glenville.
Her family was her greatest achievement, a testament to her unwavering love and spirited nature. Once her children matured and their after-school activities lessened, she embraced the opportunity to connect with her community by taking a part-time position at the downtown branch of the Schenectady Library. It was here that Frankie made many friends, and she found joy in the simple pleasure of reading.
Her passion for words was evident in her love for word searches, a pastime that offered countless hours of entertainment. Frankie leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and spirited determination. Predeceased by her loving.
