Monday, July 1, 2024 Austrian Airlines launches nonstop flights from Vienna to Boston, expanding its intercontinental network to 18 destinations with up to six weekly flights. Austrian Airlines has inaugurated its first-ever year-round nonstop flight from Vienna to Boston, offering up to six weekly flights to this East Coast city. This new route is serviced by a Boeing 767, accommodating 211 passengers.
Before the inaugural flight’s departure, Austrian Airlines CCO Michael Trestl and Vienna Airport’s Joint CEO and COO Julian Jäger greeted passengers at the gate, introducing them to the new route. The celebration featured a traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony, delectable culinary treats, and a quick sketch artist who captured the memorable moment. On board the Boeing 767, passengers received special goodies from Michael Trestl to mark the occasion.
