Euro 2024 dark horses Austria will take on Turkey tonight as they battle for a spot in the tournament's quarter-finals. The competition outsiders have shocked the continent as two of the most entertaining teams and now a last-eight place is up for grabs for both. Austria edged a five-goal thriller against the Netherlands to top Group D in stunning fashion at the expense of the Dutch and Euro favourites France.
Ralf Rangnick 's men will now fancy their chances of going deep in the tournament with a reunion with Ronald Koeman 's Oranje or a tie with Romania on offer in the quarter-finals. However, Turkey will represent an intriguing test, having bounced back from defeat to Portugal to overcome the Czech Republic and qualify as Group F runners-up. Vincenzo Montella 's side will also be buoyed by their record against Austria, having gone unbeaten without conceding in their last five competitive meetings together.
