However now it seems it was perhaps all for publicity as Sam Thompson has shared a clip of him arguing with his girlfriend Zara McDermott as part of a spoof advert.

Working with toothpaste brand Sensodyne, Sam, 31, shared the advert to his Instagram on Thursday as he claimed he is 'just a big softy' and there is 'nothing wrong with being sensitive'. In the comedic sketch the pair bicker together as Sam brushes an unhappy looking Zara's teeth before she snaps: 'You know it is also 100% recyclable, just like boyfriends.' The advert comes after the former Love Island star reportedly rushed to her parents house in Essex last month after a 'blazing row' with Sam saw her pack her bags and leave the London home they share.
