The Eureka Heritage Society’s annual “Home and Garden Tour” will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, and it will feature nine properties.

Pre-sale tickets are $30 and can be purchased in Eureka at Green Lot Nursery, Eureka Books and Bev’s Real Kids; in Fortuna at Green’s Pharmacy; and in Ferndale at Rings Pharmacy. They are also available online at http://eurekaheritage.com /.

On the day of the tour, tickets will be sold for $40 at the Annie B. Ryan House and Gardens, 1000 F St. This is also where tour-goers can trade pre-sale tickets in for actual tickets and a detailed brochure.

After the tour, everyone is invited back to this spot for refreshments, a silent auction and music. The “Annie B” is one of three sites where both the house and garden are open. The 132-year-old Queen Anne cottage and surrounding property are deeply connected to the Ryan family, early settlers who were involved in the formation of the city.

This year, Eureka Heritage Society volunteers’ work will be highlighted, including completion of fencing, rebuilding the E Street wall, new benches, video security cameras and the upcoming installation of the Buhne Mansion wrought-iron fence..
