Anees Bazmee has directed some very popular movies with well known Bollywood stars. Some of Anees Bazmee’s most famous movies include , , , , and , among others. Recently, Anees Bazmee spoke about his experience of working with superstars Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan.
Talking about how the two actors are very different from one another, Anees Bazmee said, “Akshay is a very punctual man. We are always worried when working with him because if he says that we’ll start working at 7 AM, then he will be there at 7 AM. And we are not used to waking up at 6 or 7 AM.
So we have to work hard when working with him. But we really enjoy that he comes on time and he finishes up all the work.” Meanwhile, Anees Bazmee revealed that Salman Khan is not as punctual as Akshay Kumar and often turns up on the set during the afternoons, which is what the director prefers.
He said, “Sometimes, we are too relaxed with Salman Bhai because he will show up at around 1 PM, will have lunch, but then he will stay until the end of the day. I have trained under Raj Kapoor where we would work all night long, so I really like it when the day starts at 2 pm.” Anees Bazmee added that even though both actors have different styles of routine, he enjoys both equally.
He continued, “But every actor is different so we have to start according to them. And once in a while, when you change your routine and work, it’s really enjoyable. I have equal fun working with Akshay and Salman.
