Twin Falls Hawks A 18, Hub City Hitmen A 3 (Game one, four innings) The Hitmen scored two runs in the top of the first inning before the Hawks scored 10 runs in the bottom of the inning and cruised from there.

Hub City’s Deegan Prince scored when Gunnar Jones was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, and then Julian Ponce scored on an Adrian Nava single. The lead didn’t last long. Christian Waitley’s one-out double put the Hawks on the board, and Dre Mora’s RBI double two batters later put Twin Falls in front 3-2.

The Hawks scored three runs in the bottom of the second inning, including RBI singles from Justin Martin and Kennan Huettig. Treysen Vanderham scored on a wild pitch in the top of the third to cut the lead to 13-3, but Martin singled to center in the bottom of the inning to extend the lead to 14-3. The Hawks added four runs in the bottom of the fourth.

Waitley went 2-for-3 with three RBIs, Martin went 2-for-2 with two RBIs and Huettig went 2-for-2 with an RBI. Troy Worden had a hit and two RBIs. Nava went 2-for-3 with an RBI to lead the Hitmen.
