AMAZON has revealed that thousands of shoppers could get 50% off Prime membership – but not everyone will be eligible. All 18-to-22-year-olds in the UK can now purchase Prime membership for just £4.49 a month, or £47.

The membership entitles shoppers to fast delivery and exclusive discounts as well as entertainment from Prime Video and Amazon Music. John Boumphrey, UK country manager at Amazon, said the deal would make Prime's benefits "even more accessible to young people" who are "going to university, starting work, or moving out of home for the first time". Prime members can also access free food delivery on Deliveroo and HelloFresh as well as discounted cinema tickets, free games through Prime Gaming, and thousands of free books and magazines each month.
Prime will also release exclusive perks tailored for its young members, including fashion discounts and reduced price travel. It comes ahead of Amazon Prime Day which is taking place on July 16 and 17. The deals bonanza sees huge reductions across everything from beauty and homeware.
