's future on has seemingly been "confirmed". The 2024 series is yet to finish but it looks like fans will be seeing the judge on the panel for another two years after she put Simon Cowell on the spot live on air during Sunday's (June 2) grand finale. During magician Jack Rhodes' performance, she cheekily asked Simon if she could "be on the show for next two years and an uplift" before adding "and with Alesha and Bruno".

However, Simon jokingly replied "yes to the first one and no to second". As the judges offered their feedback to Jack, Amanda, who has been part of BGT since it launched in 2004, pointed out once again that Simon can agreed a "two-year deal" before letting out a playful giggle. It comes after Amanda sparked backlash from viewers as she arrived for the live final wearing a daring metallic gown held up by luck alone.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: "Considering it’s a family show...

wears the most inappropriate outfits!!! ." Another added: "What’s Amanda nearly wearing?? " A third person said: "I hope Amanda Holden is ok - she is dressed for open-heart surgery ." It comes after Amanda was issued a stern warning over her outfit ahead of the BGT final.

In 2020, Amanda received 235 Ofcom complaints for her plunging navy gown, which viewers slammed as being "too revealing" for a family programme. In 2017, a Julien MacDonald dress – costing a whopping £11,250 – also sparked fury with its low neckline, attracting 663 Ofcom complaints .
