There's no event in the British social calendar quite as revered as Royal Ascot. The esteemed event sees plenty of Royals attend in droves to celebrate the best in racing and, of course, the best in fashion. Joining the royals are plenty of high profile guests, making for a star-studded week.

His Majesty King Charles III of course looked dapper as he attended the event. Read on to see who else was there.  Despite his ongoing cancer battle, the King appeared to have a great time during day one of the Royal Ascot alongside his wife Queen Camilla.

The King looked sharp in a grey morning suit with a lemon waistcoat while Camilla opted for a blue ensemble with a matching sapphire brooch. The King's sister Anne, Princess Royal was also in attendance. She opted for a red silk patterned coat which she wore over a mint green outfit.

She accessorised with a matching mint green hat and pearl jewellery. Princess Anne travelled in a carriage at the esteemed event alongside Lady Gabriella Kingston. Lady Gabriella's attendance has been the talk of the town with it marking her official public return after her husband's shock death .

Kingston wore a floral shirt dress and wide-brimmed peach hat for the event. Among the many royals was another big name – Penelope Lancaster. The 53-year-old former English model and television personality is the wife of world famous rock singer Rod Stewart.
