Thursday, July 11, 2024 Air France-KLM and SAS have announced new codeshare and interline agreements, which will include reciprocal loyalty program benefits. These agreements will take effect on September 1, 2024, coinciding with SAS joining the SkyTeam alliance, where Air France-KLM is a founding member. The codeshare agreement will cover numerous European destinations.

Air France and KLM customers will gain access to 33 destinations in Northern Europe through SAS’s hubs in Copenhagen, Oslo, and Stockholm. Similarly, SAS customers will have access to 33 European destinations via Air France and KLM’s hubs at Paris Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam Schiphol airports. Plans to include intercontinental destinations in the agreement are also in progress.

The interline agreement will encompass the European networks of Air France, KLM, and SAS, offering customers more travel options. Members of Flying Blue and EuroBonus, the loyalty programs of Air France-KLM and SAS respectively, will be able to earn and redeem Miles/Points on all flights starting September 1, 2024. Eligible EuroBonus members will also enjoy SkyTeam services and benefits, including SkyPriority and lounge access.
