Olivia Cooke has shared how she filmed an “animalistic” and “carnal” sex scene for - but it didn’t make the final cut. The actress, plays Alicent Hightower in the Game Of Thrones spin-off prequel. The brand new second series kicked off last week - and has already become a hit with fans.
In the first series of HBO's hit fantasy show, Olivia took over the role from Emily Carey, who player her younger self in the first five episodes. And much like its predecessor show, Game Of Thrones, House of the Dragon is packed full of raunchy on-screen moments. But according to Olivia there was one sex scene that they filmed involving her character Alicent that was so racy, it ended up getting left on the cutting-room floor.
Speaking about the X-rated scenes on the programme, House of the Dragon, Olivia opened up to about how the "carnal" and "animalistic" scene. She said: “It was messy as f**k. “It wasn’t beautiful, and that was really fun to do,” Olivia added.
However, sadly the saucy scene didn’t make the final cut of the show - much to Olivia’s slight annoyance. “I think Ryan [Condal, the showrunner] said we weren’t learning any more about the characters, which I disagree with slightly, but it’s okay. It’s his show,” she said.
While the show is famous for its saucy on-screen moments, a clip from the first episode of House of the Dragon left viewers repulsed and turning off. With Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D'Arcy) determined to secure her reign and avenge th.
