Photo by Tony Caldwell / POSTMEDIA Article content Brian Nadler, the former Hawkesbury doctor acquitted this week of four counts of first-degree murder, is facing a lawsuit from the family of an elderly patient, who allege Nadler administered lethal drugs after nurses on staff refused to do so, ultimately resulting in 89-year-old Albert Poidinger’s death. The estate of Albert Poidinger is seeking $1 million in compensatory and general damages, as well as $400,000 in settlements to four of Poidinger’s family members.
