Its been 38 years since the popular 1986 family drama 'Samsaram Adhu Minsaram' directed by Visu, which received critical acclaim and ran for 25 weeks in theatres, hit the screens. On the special occasion, the production house, AVM Productions , calls a film 'a beautiful lesson in appreciating the simple joy of family'. Produced by AVM Productions, the film won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment among many other awards.
On the occasion of completing 38 years, AVM productions wrote, "Celebrating 38 Years of Samsaram Athu Minsaram . A film that wasn't just entertainment, but a beautiful lesson in appreciating the simple joy of family and the importance of nurturing those bonds." The film was inspired by Visu's play Uravukku Kai Koduppom, which had already been adapted into a 1975 film.
