LENOX — Jonathan Eig, who won the 2024 Pulitzer Prize for biography for "King, A Life," is among a stalwart group of authors slated for The Mount's two summer literary lecture series. Pulitzer Prize-winning biographer Jonathan Eig will speak at The Mount on July 29 and 30. Authors appearing as part of the Summer Lecture Series include Eig, Natalie Dykstra, Peter Hessler, Safiya Sinclair, Charlotte Gray, Brenda Wineapple and Deborah Cohen.
The Master Series, now in its second year, returns with host Andre Bernard, author and former vice president of the Guggenheim Foundation. Bernard's guests will include political analyst Jonathan Alter, food and farming advocate Michael Pollan, musician Roseanne Cash, author Lauren Groff, New Yorker cartoonist Roz Chast and New York Times book critic Dwight Garner. “For over three decades, The Mount has been a beacon for thought-provoking discussions, and this year is no exception.
