Below are 12 of our favourite family-oriented festivals due to be held in the school holidays , in chronological order (tickets are available for all, at the time of writing). Prices can look expensive, but keep in mind that they include accommodation (okay, a patch in a field for your tent!) and daily entertainment. If you can afford the extra, most sites have glamping options (yurts, bell tents and suchlike), sometimes with proper beds, and often with access to upgraded showers and even flushing toilets.
