Pour Moi's Lingerie Buyer, Emma Woodrow, has sounded the alarm: "Sleeping with tight, uncomfortable knickers on can lead to multiple health issues, including irritation, chafing, infections (from bacteria build-up) and unwanted odours.

" She warns that as temperatures rise, so does the sweat down under, increasing moisture and the risk of infections. Plus, snug undies could leave you with unsightly marks or chafing, potentially ruining your morning, reports Bristol Live . Emma has dished out three top reasons to consider going commando at bedtime: Allows your skin to breathe—In the summer, our intimate areas can get extra sweaty, so sleeping without underwear is a great way to allow your skin to recover from a day under multiple layers of clothing.
