A WOMAN has opened up about her near-death experience and revealed what might happen to us after we die. When Willow Caelan was thrown out of her car into a ditch after a sudden crash she thought her time was up. The 34-year-old expected pain but instead allegedly drifted into a state of peace and comfort where "nothing mattered".
She claims seeing her soul floating above her body as if her physical form was no longer present. Now, after being given a second chance, she's sharing her near-death experience as she believes it may hold the secret to what happens after we die. Willow said: "I felt like I was just pure consciousness and love, not a human with a body.
"It was almost like I was floating into a void to be connected with god or some form of the greater universe. "I couldn't see or hear anything, but I remember it being dark, comforting and warm. It was incredibly relaxing.
"I was finally at peace – no longer worried or questioning anything – it was like heaven." Willow, from Michigan , US, had finished her first day at a new job when suddenly a car rear-ended her vehicle. She claims she and her car were "launched 40 yards" into oncoming traffic, where a semi-truck began to approach her – and then she blacked out.
As it was so horrific, witnesses were convinced she hadn't survived until she regained consciousness and flagged down help. She said: "Everyone was in complete disbelief, especially as no one came to check on me since it was almost certain that I wouldn.
