People caught carrying knives in public places, violent offenders who assaulted others and a whole host of people caught driving whilst above the legal alcohol limit have appeared at Grimsby Magistrates' Court in recent days. While some cases were adjourned to be tried at a later date and others sent to Grimsby Crown Court, magistrates in Grimsby still handed out community orders, hefty fines and driving bans to offenders from across northern Lincolnshire. Here are ten people who were sentenced by magistrates in Grimsby last week.

She was disqualified from driving for 18 months and given a community order with the requirement to not consume any alcohol for 90 days. Lewis Hardy, 20, of Fuller Street, Cleethorpes pleaded guilty to the possession of a bladed article, namely a pocket knife, in a public place, and to the possession of cannabis.
