Two members of Kolkata police in Dhaka, talk to arrested 3 accused Two members of Kolkata police arrived in Dhaka on Thursday (May 23) afternoon to investigate Jhenidah-4 constituency's MP Anwarul Azim Anar murder case. They are staying at the DMP Headquarters. Abdul Ahad, deputy commissioner of Wari Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Branch of police, confirmed it on Thursday (May 23).

The two members of Kolkata police were scheduled to question the arrested three accused at the DB office at Minto Road in Dhaka in the evening. Sources said a three-member police team will also go to Kolkata from Dhaka to witness the place of occurrence of MP Anar murder. It may be mentioned the Anwarul Azim Anar went to Kolkata for medical treatment on May 12 last.



He went missing in Kolkata at the beginning of the current month. On Wednesday, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said MP Anar was murdered. However, his body was yet to be recovered.

Citing the CCTV footage of the house in Kolkata where MP Anar got into, Barackpur police said two persons got out of the house with large-size luggage on May 13 and May 15. On Wednesday, Bidhan Nagar police said MP Anar was murdered at a duplex house at Aquatic area in New Town of Kolkata on May 13 last. The owner of the house of state government's tax department official Sanjeev Ghosh.

He rented the house to US citizen Aktaruzzaman Shahin. Bidhan Nagar police, Barackpur police and members of a special taskforce went to the house on Wedne.
