Golfers will be clubbing together to complete a half-marathon while playing two rounds in aid of a good cause. Members at Turton Golf Club will play two rounds of golf - 36 holes - on Friday, June 7. The distance in playing the games will equate to a half marathon.

The fundraiser is as part of a wider family fun day between 12.30pm and 11pm, which will have fun, games and food , all to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK . David Boothroyd has been doing the fundraising event for years, but this time the event will be on a much bigger scale.
