There were no train services between Scunthorpe and Doncaster while emergency services dealt with an incident that closed the railway line this morning. It has now been cleared, but the disruption means trains may be delayed or cancelled until 11am. The incident started at around 6:30am and was believed to be caused by people trespassing on the railway line.
The travel reporting service Inrix states: "Service suspended on Northern between Doncaster and Scunthorpe due to emergency services dealing with an incident." Emergency services are on site and dealing with the incident.

Journey times may take up to 30 minutes longer on rail replacement transport. Those who would be traveling on TransPennine Express can use tickets on: East Midlands Railway services between Sheffield and Liverpool Lime Street, and between Grimsby Town and Lincoln / Nottingham to connect to alternate.
