A charity football match in memory of Bolton popstar Tom Parker will be taking place this weekend with a host of celebs taking part. Celebs will take to Dorking Wanderers’ pitch, Meadowbank Football Ground, on Sunday, June 16. The charity match is in memory of Tom Parker, who died in 2022 of a brain tumour.
Tom Parker and Kelsey Hardwick (Image: PA) The event has been organised by wife, Kelsey Parker. It coincides with Father’s Day and all proceeds will be donated to the Tom Parker Foundation. Alex Bain, who played Simon Barlow on Coronation Street for 15 years, is among the famous faces taking part.
He said: “I wanted to invite you all to Dorking Wanderers FC on Father’s Day for the Tom Parker family football match. "It’s going to be a fantastic day out with a lot going on. Bring your family and friends, we will be raising money for charity.

The game kicks off at 1.30pm and tickets for the event are £7 for children and £12 for adults.
