An 'indicative' timeframe has been released for the main works on Cleethorpe Road flyover with the aim for traffic management to be lifted for Armed Forces weekend at the end of June. North East Lincolnshire Council is currently carrying out a maintenance scheme on three bridges along the A180 in Grimsby to ensure they are "fit to serve for the next 20 years". This will be done over extended night closures from Tuesday, May 28, and will see the road fully closed from Westgate roundabout to Pyewipe roundabout between 8pm and 6am each night for up to two weeks. A complete closure will be required that night to install a contraflow on the bridge.
