If you spot a new bulge in your eye or an unusual coloured ring around your iris, it could be a sign of a serious health issue.

These symptoms might seem unrelated to your heart, liver, or thyroid, but they can provide significant insights into your overall physical health. Like any other organ, your eyes can show changes when something goes wrong elsewhere in your body. For instance, jaundice can turn the whites of your eyes yellow when the function of your liver starts to fail and is a sign that something is seriously wrong.
