Food festivals give people the opportunity to try loads of different gastronomic delights, and there are a few taking place in Sussex during 2024. There will be loads of festivals and events dedicated to delicious dishes and cuisines across the county over the remainder of the year. As the name suggests there will be a wide variety of cheese and chilli products for attendees to sample, alongside chilli eating competitions and challenges. The festival will also have plenty of entertainment including live music , wrestling and a mini funfair.

Food, Drink & Makers Festival Taking place on the grounds of the East Sussex National Hotel in Uckfield, the Food, Drink and Makers Festival will bring together many local craft and produce stalls. It will occur on Saturday, June 29 from 11am to 3pm with the entry cost being a voluntary donation.
The website adds: "Live music, face painting and free games and crafts are supplied by the LSC from the Chailey Heritage Foundation." All funds raised from the day will support Chailey Heritage Foun.
