With over 400 volunteers, the Trust is fortunate to have more volunteers than any other Health & Social Care Trust in the Northern Ireland. Volunteers work, in hospitals and in the community, carrying out a wide range of roles. These dedicated Volunteers from diverse backgrounds, ranging in age from 16 to over 80, bring a wealth of experience and an invaluable willingness to contribute their time and skills. An incredible 15% of the volunteers are students aged 16-18 years and have said that volunteering not only helps build their skills, but also helps them make more informed career choices.
