A Dreams survey has found that a whopping 64 per cent of people have experienced more lucid and colourful dreams after eating certain foods. The poll revealed that fermented favourites like kimchi are not the only culprits, with 57 per cent of participants pointing the finger at these tangy treats.

Meanwhile, other unexpected foods such as oysters and superfoods like spirulina have also been named as dream enhancers by 14 per cent and 29 per cent of respondents, respectively. With #kimchi racking up an impressive six billion views on TikTok, it's clear that foodies are intrigued by the connection between their plates and their dreams.
